The PowerStar AE125 electric tankless water heater is designed to replace an electric storage tank heater. Advantages include endless hot water, dramatically reduced electricity costs and substantial space savings.
PowerStar Model AE125
The PowerStar AE125 only uses electricity when you are demanding hot water. Traditional hot water heaters are constantly using electricity to heat your water -- even when you don't need it.
Please note that the PowerStar AE125 requires 240/220 Volts and draws 120 Amps (3 x 40 Amp Breakers) when providing hot water. It has a 95% efficiency rating. The minimum recommended service for this heater is 200AMPS.
Provides 3.7 gallons per minute for water usage at 105°F* - 2 sinks simultaneously or 1 shower or bathtub. Provides 3.0 gallons per minute for water usage at 115°F* - 2 sinks simultaneously or 1 dishwasher. *Assumes 55°F inlet temperature.
When installed in Canada, the AE Canada Kit is required.
The AE125 replaces the PS28T model, which has been discontinued.
